Through the Motions:
Haley Palmeri

Artist Statement: Not being able to express my own feelings as a child made me turn to my artwork for free reign of my own expression. Through the Motions, in reference to how most of my life has felt, is a visual representation of my attempts at dealing with my own wide range of emotions: grief, anger, sadness. This body of work is a reflection of my emotional struggles, and personal conflicts. My journey of self reflection through art is one that is still in its infancy, and these works are a glimpse into that journey.

Artist Biography: Haley Palmeri was born and raised in Clarksville, Tennessee. She recollects her fondest childhood memories were of herself doing artwork and by the age of 13, she had won an art contest for the Clarksville Montgomery County School System.
