Ancient Roma, Night and Day:
Dan Alsobrooks

The Framemaker proudly presents photography by artist Dan Alsobrooks. This exhibit is part of Clarksville’s First Thursday Art Walk on December 5, 2019. An opening reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The exhibit will remain on display at the Framemaker throughout the month of December during normal business hours (Mon. through Fri. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Alsobrooks states: “It doesn’t get much cooler than this; a full week soaking up the charm and tastes of the City of Rome with my Sony camera at my side. The adventure included three days of lessons with World class photographer, Oliver Blum. I’m so grateful that I found him a few months before I arrived in Italy. Together, we  explored the ancient city on bright sunny mornings and on dark  mysterious nights along the famous Tiber River. I’m so thankful Oliver shared new ideas with me on how to us my Sony a7II camera. These lessons included  hands on editing technics on my lap top using “Adobe Lightroom”. Most of all he helped me improve the way I studied my scenes before I took the photographs.

I, of course, also loved my days on my own looking for the parades and protests of the always colorful citizens of Roma!”
