The Framemaker proudly presents photography by Alison Hamilton. This exhibit is part of Clarksville’s First Thursday Art Walk on Nov. 3, 2016. An opening reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The exhibit will remain on display at the Framemaker throughout the month of November during normal business hours (Mon. through Fri. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
Alison Hamilton is an alumna of Austin Peay State University. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2013. Since then, she has been capturing images with her Holga 120N camera. “Amalgam” is an exhibit of these Holga images. The artist states, “Two years of shooting on a plastic camera has yielded a variety of images depicting the flow of life. The content is a mixture of all things that excited me as a walked with my camera. Each image is connected to another simply by the method of creating it. It is my love letter to the Holga camera and film-based photography.”
