About

Custom Frame Design Since 1984

The Framemaker, a family owned business, was started by Bryan Edgin and his brother Ray Edgin in 1984. During the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s, the business was owned by Barbara Edgin, making it one of Clarksville’s few woman-owned businesses at that time. It is currently in the second generation of family proprietorship, owned and operated by Glenn Edgin.

The business was originally located in a tobacco warehouse on the Cumberland River. It relocated in 1997 to North Second Street in downtown Clarksville. Since its inception, the focus of The Framemaker has been offering unique frame design, attention to detail and personal service for all our client needs. Our concentration has been on the preservation of all framed articles. Over the past three decades, collectors, artists and corporations have trusted us to properly frame their work. We design for a variety of framing projects, from inexpensive to higher-end, ranging from simple black frames to hand-finished imported Italian moldings. For your next framing project, enjoy the experience of having something designed and constructed beautifully, just for you!
