About

Custom Frame Design Since 1984

The Framemaker, a family-owned business, was started by Bryan Edgin and his brother in 1984 and is currently in the second generation of family ownership. The business was originally located in a tobacco warehouse on the Cumberland River. It relocated in 1997 to North Second Street in Clarksville. Since its inception, the focus of The Framemaker has been on customer service and meeting the design needs of the individual with an emphasis on personal attention in a quiet, low-pressure atmosphere.

Focus: Quality and Design

Our concentration has been on preservation of all materials we frame – whether they are one-of-a-kind artworks or historic family photographs and documents. Over the past two decades, collectors and artists alike have trusted us to properly frame their work.

We design for a range of framing projects, from inexpensive to higher-end – ranging from simple black frames to hand-finished imported Italian mouldings. Learn more about our custom framing (link to Framing page).
